Francisco’s ‘Silver and Champagne’ Day
Last year’s captain, Francisco Cervilla, kindly sponsored a very special ‘Silver and Champagne’ day on Tuesday, May 6th. Francisco provided special solid silver trophies and bottles of champagne for the winners of the event, played on Campo America. The leading lady was Sonya Foster and the men’s winner was the current captain, Brian Gray. Brian was understandably delighted to win the silver cup, having previously served as second-in-charge to Francisco during his term of office. Played in beautiful, balmy conditions, the competition was followed by tapas in Los Olivos.
