News: International Final at the Lady Junior Championship

The final is to be played at La Cala Resort (Málaga, Spain) on 9th May at 09:00 hours.

The Madrid player, Maria Villamil has today continued with her steady play and has now reached the final of the International Lady Junior Championship that is being played at La Cala Resort this week.

Maria who qualified in 32nd position and the final stage of the Championship after a play-off on hole 19, defeated this morning, in the round prior to the quarterfinals, Almudena Blasco with 4/3 and in the semi-final played in the afternoon the local favourite, Ana Fernandez de Mesa from Vista Hermosa Golf Club in Cadiz, with 2/1.

In the final Maria will play against the Finnish player Noora Tamminen. Noora has been playing better day after day and today both Spanish Luna Sobrón (2 up) and Portuguese Marta Vasconcelos (4/3) couldn´t stop her to reach the final.
