The first qualifier of 2011 was played today

Guillermo Moreno, José A. Rivas, Gabriel Martín, Emilio Perez & José M. Rodriguez

Guillermo Moreno Piña, José Antonio Rivas Espada, Gabriel Martin Pulido, Emilio Perez Martinez & José Miguel Rodriguez de Pablo are the first players who have qualified for this year´s Spanish final of World Golfers Championship.

In 2011 La Cala Resort will, once again, organize the qualifiers and the national final of World Golfers Championship Spain.

In 2010 the Spanish team, Juan Antonio Ruiz, Adam Ford, Pedro Corral, Eduardo Casasola & Carlos Ruiz, came second in the world final played in Thailand

Today the first qualifier of the year was held with the runners-up in Thailand, players from the 2009´s and 2010´s national final, friends, family and collegues taking part. The day was sponsored by the Spanish beer San Miguel.

Next qualifier will be played 9th April, together with the fundraising event "Seve Ballesteros Foundation Challenge". Severiano Ballesteros is the honorary president of World Golfers Championship.
