World Golfers Championship - The Re-match starts

As the official Headquarters of the Spanish team of the World Golfers Championship, La Cala Resort welcomed some of the teams from the international final of the World Golfers Championship 2010, played in Thailand, to participate in a re-match tournament on 18th & 19th April.

The Spanish team competed with Switzerland, Germany, a team called Europe made up of fans of the different teams, and the winning team from the 2010 championships, Russia. It was a 2 round competition, with the first round played on Campo Europa and the second round on Campo Asia, taking into account the best 4 from 5 scores for each team.

On 17th April, the teams played their practice round in preparation for the competition. After this they enjoyed a welcome cocktail and tournament presentation in the Hotel courtyard, together with some typical Spanish tapas, where they had the chance to catch up with their team mates from the world final in 2010.
