When did I start playing golf:
When I was 14 I went to work as a caddie at Golf Torrequebrada and learned how to play there. I participated in various competitions with the hope of becoming a professional.
I spent the next 5 years as a caddie as well as training to become an electrician. Due to work I went for 9 years without playing. Since then, there are times when I practice quite a lot as well as times when I hardly practice at all. These days I play golf about 3 or 4 times a week.
Golf is my hobby. Well, in truth, it’s more than a hobby.
Being finalist of World Golfers Championship Final:
To me it seems like a championship that defines differences and is a dream for any golfer: to travel, play quality courses and to be part of a team representing your country. What’s more, I think it very appropriate that the modality should be medal play.
Last year in Thailand we had a wonderful experience in a splendidly organized event, something I hope to relive this year. I’ve never been to South Africa but they tell me that the courses we’ll be playing are excellent.
