In strong position going into Final Day
The third day of the Amateur World Golfers Championship got under way today at four of the best golf courses that this region of South Africa has to offer.
The Spanish team fought well hot weather to hold onto their 7th position lead in the overall team rankings.
1st category player Juan Antonio played well again with an impressive 72 net at the fantastic Princes Grant Estate, the long par 4s and the windy conditions have made this probably the hardest to play over the pat three days.
Jose Antonio, Spain`s 5th category player, stood firm once again under pressure and managed a very credible score of 71 net at the Umhlali Golf Club.
Gabriel Martin and young "Paquito" held firm at the Durban Country Club with great scores of 72 net by each of them.
The Spanish team are still only 42 shots off the current leaders China who have accumulated 866 shots during the first three days competition.
