Participants
The competition is limited to players (male & female), of any age, with Spanish or other International handicap.
No limit of handicap BUT to qualify for a prize the maximum handicap for men is 26.4 & ladies 36.4
N.B: this year the competition is limited to 90 players in order to allow our participants to feel safe with social distancing measures, as well as comply with limited capacity restrictions that may be in place.
FORMAT: Individual Stableford (hcp), 54 holes.
Categories & Prizes
- Three categories, prizes for the best three results in each category
- Special prizes (e.g,longest drive, nearest the pin, etc.)
- The XVI LaCala GolfWorld Open Champion will be the player with the best score over the three rounds
Hotel & Golf Package
- 5 nights in a shared double room with daily Breakfast (Check in 22nd – Check out 27th November)
- 4 days of golf shared buggy and picnic bag on the 3 competition days
- 1 Thermal Circuit/Spa Experience.
- Welcome Dinner (½ bottle of house wine included)
- 3 days light lunch
- Gala Dinner with prize-giving ceremony (including beverages during the dinner)

Individual use supplement: €210 per person
*For non-players, the Green fees will be exchanged for 2 Massages & 1 Treatment in La Cala Spa (1 Back Massage 25’, 1 Experience Light as the air (dry floatation) and 1 Aromatherapy Massage 50’)

La Cala Golf reserves the right to change the confirmed courses, due to unforeseen/special circumstances.
In the event that a day is cancelled then all the scores for that day will not count towards the final score. It is duly noted that because multiple courses are in use at any one time that competitors scores will count at different courses. This will be part of the tournament and considered the “rub of the green”.
