New Summer Camp for Kids at La Cala Resort

Surrounded by spectacular scenery and with plenty to do on site, La Cala Resort, Andalucía has announced the launch of their new Golf Summer Camps for 2015, inviting children staying at the hotel aged 5 to 14 to learn how to putt like the pros. Prices start at just € 235 per child for the five day programme which runs Monday to Friday, from 29th June to 14th August 2015. Families can stay at the hotel from just € 134 per room, per night with one child staying complimentary.

Whether a complete beginner or a budding golf champion, children can learn skills from chipping and putting, to the rules and etiquette of golf at the unique Summer Camp. Classes take place at La Cala’s onsite Golf Academy that has multilingual professionals on hand to help the youngsters improve their game.

When booking the summer camp, attendees are provided with complimentary top quality golfing equipment including clubs, balls and an academy polo shirt. Golfers can also enjoy delicious, three course lunches and complimentary transfers from the Academy to the Club House each day ensuring parents don’t have to organise a thing. At the end of the fun filled week, children are awarded for their efforts with a Diploma in the prize giving ceremony.

Situated in the region which enjoys 320 days of sunshine per year, La Cala Resort is world renowned as the finest golf complex in Andalucia and boasts three 18 hole championship courses, designed by one of the most prestigious golf designers in Europe, Cabell Robinson. The hotel also has two swimming pools, a FIFA football pitch, tennis and squash facilities and an extensive spa with incredible views, that offers complimentary use for exhausted parents in need of pampering.

While mum and dad are relaxing, there is also a kids’ mini club is open from 10am to 6pm, six days a week, and will keep the children from 4 – 11 years old entertained with a host of activities including water sports, crafts, discos and more!
