La Cala Golf World Open

The XXI La Cala Golf World Open invites you to experience one of the most distinctive weeks in La Cala’s golfing calendar. Set across La Cala’s exceptional courses and shaped by competition, memorable moments and a truly special atmosphere, this edition also sees the return of the shotgun start and post-round lunches, back by popular demand.

From tournament rounds and outstanding playing conditions to lively evenings and the unmistakable atmosphere of La Cala Resort, you will enjoy a week designed to be as rewarding off the course as it is on it.

For this edition, the tournament will take place from 30 November to 5 December, with the dates specially adjusted around a professional tournament taking place at La Cala, making this year’s event part of an especially exciting moment in the La Cala Resort golfing calendar.

Experience the character of each layout as the championship unfolds across La Cala’s unforgettable landscape.

Competitors

All amateur players with a valid licence issued by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation or a handicap certificate from another international golf federation may participate, with no handicap restrictions. However, the maximum playing handicap for results will be 26.4 for gentlemen and 36.4 for ladies (exact handicap).

Categories & Prizes

Three categories. The top three results in each category will be awarded, along with special prizes (nearest to the pin, longest drive, and best scratch score).
Additionally, there will be a raffle with amazing prizes and surprises.
The champion of the XXI La Cala Golf World Open will be the player with the best overall score after the three rounds.
