What is La Cala’s dress code?
La Cala Resort is a Golf and Leisure complex, and therefore sports and casual wear are fine. However, for the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, we do ask that you wear shoes and shirts/tops at all times in public areas of the hotel. A specific golf dress code applies to La Cala Golf Club and it´s Courses.
In our restaurants, the dress code is smart casual.
Do I need a car at La Cala Resort?
It very much depends on your motivation for choosing La Cala Resort as your destination of choice. If it’s to completely relax, unwind and switch off and your content to stay within the resort for the duration of your stay then you can arrange a transfer to and from your port of entry. A minibus service operates from the hotel to the golf academy within the resort and during the months of July & August a shuttle operates to the beach clubs in our nearest village La Cala de Mijas. However if you want to explore a little then we strongly recommend you hire a car, both for your own convenience and so you can easily visit the surrounding beaches, countryside and towns. For more information about car hire, please contact reception.
