The Europa Tour, in Mijas (Malaga), will host the grand final of the Ladies European Tour from November 26 to 29.
The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho 2026 has a confirmed venue. La Cala Resort, in Mijas (Málaga), will host the tournament, which will once again close the Ladies European Tour (LET) season from November 26-29.
The change of venue, however, maintains a consistent commitment to Andalusia and the Costa del Sol as the tournament’s natural setting, reinforcing the link between the Spanish Women’s Open and one of Europe’s most renowned golf destinations, both for the quality of its courses and its organizational capacity. In this context, Mijas consolidates its position as one of the key golf locations on the Costa del Sol, with a solid offering and a long tradition linked to the sport.
The championship will be played on the Europa course, one of the three courses designed by Cabell B. Robinson at this renowned resort. This course is known for its strategic nature and for demanding precision on approach shots rather than power off the tee. It is a well-balanced course where the tee shot clearly influences the chances on each hole, especially due to the well-protected, undulating greens with slopes that require precise reading of the ball.
The Rio Ojén is an integral part of the course, and its presence on several holes, along with the course’s variety of elevated tees and changes of direction, demands great precision from players throughout the round. The course combines holes where aggressive play is possible with others where course management will be key. In this sense, the Europa course is shaping up to be a very fair setting for the end of the season, where consistency and control of the game often make the difference.
For Sean Corte-Real, general manager of La Cala Resort, “it is an honor to host the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España and the LET Grand Final at our facilities. This tournament represents the pinnacle of European women’s golf and perfectly aligns with our commitment to providing world-class experiences, both on and off the course.”
Regarding the course design, Corte-Real commented: “The Europe course will present a very comprehensive challenge for the players, where strategy, precision, and decision-making will be crucial. We are confident that, together with our infrastructure and the quality of the destination, we will offer an ideal setting for the season finale of an event of this magnitude.”
Widely recognized on the international golf scene, La Cala stands out for the scale and quality of its offerings: three 18-hole championship courses and a 9-hole par-3 short course, totaling 63 holes and the largest golf offering integrated into a single resort in Spain. This is complemented by a comprehensive selection of hotels, restaurants, wellness facilities, real estate, and lifestyle experiences.
Thus, the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho will once again bring together the best players on the European circuit in the fight for the title and to close the season at the top, in a week always marked by the competitive tension typical of a grand final.
The 2025 edition crowned the Frenchwoman Nastasia Nadaud, who at 21 years old made her debut as a winner on the European circuit and gave a real recital on the weekend to become the youngest player to win the Open.
With this new scenario, the tournament faces an edition that introduces a course with a very defined profile, in which strategy, precision and course management will make the difference in the decisive stretch of the European women’s golf season.
