You may have been welcomed by José Antonio Rodríguez, our Restaurant Manager who oversees the operation of our bars and restaurants at La Cala Resort together with his team of approximately 30 staff members. In addition, José is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our food and beverage are arranged perfectly for our many weddings and events at La Cala.
Raised in Andalucía, José became exposed to the world of hospitality at the age of 15 when he started his career as a waiter and found his passion for the industry. During his nine years working at La Cala, José served in various positions before his promotion to Restaurant Manager in 2022.
