Many of our golfers will know Álex Núñez, our Golf Operations Supervisor at La Cala Resort. He previously served in various roles with our golf team including Caddy Master and Head Caddy Master before his recent promotion.

Born and raised in Malaga, Álex’s passion for golf spans a period of 20 years when he started as a Player Assistant, and subsequently worked at several courses across the Costa del Sol including the Miguel Ángel Jiménez Golf Academy.

At La Cala, Alex oversees our Caddy Master team across our three 18-hole championship courses, as well as our daily operation and our golf competitions. Álex states, “Every day is different at La Cala,” and he truly enjoys coaching his staff to perform at their best so that we can deliver an excellent golf experience for our players.

When Álex sees that many of our players return to La Cala, he couldn’t be a prouder member of our team.
